kapangyarihan ng Salita ng Diyos

The story is told of a Sunday class that had been asked the question, “In your time of discouragement, what is your favorite Scripture?” A young man said, “the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want Psalm 23:1.”

A middle age woman said, “God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1.”

Another woman said, “In this world you shall have tribulations, but be of good cheer, I have overcome this world. John 16:33-35.”

Then old Mr. John who was 80 years old, with head of white hair and dark black skin, stood up and said with as much strength as he could muster, “and it came to pass 85 times in the Bible.”

The class started to laugh a little thinking that old Mr. John’s lack of memory was getting the best of him. When the snickering stopped, he said.

“At 30 I lost my job with six hungry mouths and a wife to feed. I didn’t know how I would make it. At 40 my eldest son was killed overseas in the war. It knocked me down.

At 50 my house burned to the ground. Nothing was saved out of the house. At 60 my wife of 40 years got cancer. It slowly ate away at her. We cried together many a night on our knees in prayer.

At 65 she died. I still miss her today. The agony I went through in each of these situations was unbelievable. I wondered where God was. But each time I looked in the Bible I saw one of those 85 verses that said, ‘and it came to pass.’

I felt that God was telling me, my pain and my circumstances were also going to pass and that God would get me through it.”

Let me ask you this…

minsan ba nasa sitwasyon ka ng buhay mo na halos wala ka ng pag asa.?

The good news is, if you will fill your mind and heart with God’s Word, you’ll always be reminded that you have a God that will rescue you. No matter how big your problem is.

Sobrang makapangyarihan ang Panginoon at ang kanyang salita…

To GOD be all Glory…

Very inspiring!!!

A young man was getting ready to graduate from college.

For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealers showroom, and knowing that his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car.

Finally, on the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his private study.

His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.

Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather bound Bible, with the young man’s name embossed in gold.

Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said, “With all your money you give me a Bible?” and stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him.

He had not seen him since that graduation day.

But before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.

When he arrived at his father’s house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.

He began to search through his father’s important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages.

His father has carefully underlined a verse, Matthew 7:11, “And if ye, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly Father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?”

As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible.

It had a tag with the dealers name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words….PAID IN FULL.

How many times have we missed God’s blessings because they are not packaged as we expected?

Today, just be grateful. You may not be in the best situation in life but remain grateful and trust God that He’s in control.

Stir Up

Do you need some freshness in your life today?

You may simply need to stir up what God has placed on the inside of you. Stir up those gifts, stir up those dreams, stir up those talents inside. Start stretching yourself. You were created to be a dreamer and pursue the desires God has placed in your heart.

The scripture tells us that without vision, people perish.

Remember this, if you don’t have a dream or vision for your life, you’re not really going to reach your fullest potential. Maybe at one time you had a dream, but you went through some disappointments or setbacks. Things didn’t turn out the way you planned.

But here’s a key: when one dream dies, dream another dream. Just because it didn’t work out the way you had it planned doesn’t mean that God doesn’t have another plan.

You cannot allow one disappointment or even a series of disappointments to convince you that your dream is over.

Remember His promises and meditate His words daily.

JESUS died on the cross because of the sin ng lhat ng tao. No one is excuse because no one is perfect.

Lord JESUS hang on the cross para tubusin ang lahat ng tao sa kasalanan,

Sin is the reason why bkit tyo nalayo sa Panginoon pero dahil kay JESUS who hang on the cross  that who ever believe in him will be save.
